Boycott Nokia

I've seen some amoral behavior by large corporations in my time - but this easily takes the cake.

Also there is this poster, which describes a “new Nokia product, produced with the cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran” that is “capable of identifying, torturing and killing Iranian youth.”

These images show Iranian anger against the wireless company after it was revealed to have provided the Iranian government with sensitive surveillance technology that aided in the post-election crackdown.
Are you f'ing kidding me? They sold surveillance technology to the Iranians?!?!?!?!

How amoral does it get?

Yes, it's heinous that they sold surveillance technology to a nation whose leaders oppress, torture, and murder their own people. That's one angle. But consider this. They sold surveillance technology to a country that has threatened destruction on a massive scale against Israel and the West. It's not that much of a stretch to reach the conclusion that Nokia, by aiding and abetting the Ayatollahs, could potentially have the blood of millions of people on their hands.

I will never, EVER, purchase a Nokia product again. I suggest you do likewise. Since it's money they value over all else, it's money we'll deny them.
