Week 7...ouch!

It's not like I didn't see this one coming. Ouch! The only surprise is that the Giants weren't able to capitalize any better than they did on all of the mistakes, fumbles, bumbles, and stumbles. The final: 29-17, Giants.

JT needs to be taken to the woodshed about his mishandling of the football. 2 picks and 4 fumbles (1 lost)? That's not acceptable at any level. Is it Shawn Hill time? Maybe. I was REALLY impressed with SH last year and thought he'd be given a better chance to crack the starting lineup this year than he was. If JT doesn't start protecting the rock, I'm definitely going to be in the chorus of folks calling for Mr. Hill.

Frank Gore got shut down yesterday. Completely. As in 11 carries, 11 yards. Ouch!

The defense played well at times, but our lack of pass rush showed -- 0 sacks of lead-footed Eli Manning.

The bright spot, for the second week in a row, was special teams, getting a blocked field goal return for a touchdown. Very nice.

Mike Nolan continues to leave me scratching my crest with his clock management "skills". He may be in over his head as a head coach.

Upcoming: the lowly Seabags. Finally, a game we have a chance to win!
